Outpatient Services

SLBH Outpatient programs hold therapeutic groups daily and is tailored to fit individual needs, to include an individualized treatment plan specific to each individual’s needs. Groups are led by Master’s level therapists and registered nurses. The therapeutic group curriculum is based on DBT skills such as Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Boundaries, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Shifting Thoughts, Problem Solving, Emotion Regulation and Building a Satisfying Life.

Our groups meet at our outpatient clinic three to five days a week for three to four hours. Your length of treatment in SLBH’s Outpatient programs will be determined by your specific needs and treatment plan. Outpatient programs are a structured therapeutic programs that assists in transitioning patients from an inpatient hospital setting to a more independent life in their community. The programs are designed to increase and maintain the therapeutic gains individuals have made as patients in the hospital. Outpatient is tailored to meet each individuals needs and provides direction and tools that participants can use in their daily lives.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday
The Intensive Outpatient Program is for the patient who has achieved some stability, but continues to need more intensive treatment.

  • Patient participate 3 days a week with one of treatment planning from 9am to 12pm
  • Structured group therapy
  • Case Management
  • IOP is for patients who are struggling with symptoms and at risk for relapse.

IOP programs include:
